When it comes to Costco, there is a lot we love about it. From their low prices, membership perks to low sales. The other thing you did not know about is the refund you can get each time you shop in the form of cashback, points, and bonuses.

The best credit card to use for your shopping at Costco is the newly opened visa card. For example, if you have a new card and want to meet the requirements for minor spending, use it frequently until you earn the sign-up bonus. Getting the sign-up bonus membership is the easiest and fast way to get returns on your spending for whatever item you bought.

Remember, in-store Costco only accepts visa cards. For online shopping, you can use discover credit cards, master cards but not American Express card. If you have a new card and not aiming towards minimum spending, use the below best cards at Costco to get more rewards.

US Bank Altitude Reserve

Using the US Bank Altitude Reserve card at Costco and spending qualifying purchases of $4500, you get 50,000 Altitude Reserve Points within ninety days of opening your account. You will also earn:

  • On every $1 spent on travel purchases, you earn 3X points.
  • Every $1mobile wallet buying, you get 3X points.
  • For all the other purchases, you earn 1X points.

There is also an annual fee of $400 for a US Bank Altitude Reserve card. Though other reduced bonuses include:

  • On each cardmember year, there is a travel credit of $325
  • You have a priority pass at the airport with your complimentary membership. With a free entry of four people for you plus one guest
  • On each calendar year, there are in-flight Wi-Fi permits.
  • There is a Global Entry fee credit of $100 after every four years of using your card.

Recently, Costco added a mobile payment mode in all their stores in which you can pay using your mobile phone and earn three points for every $1 used at Costco. Every point you at Costco is worth 1.5 cents of your travel. it is an outstanding return for every purchase you make and pay with your mobile. As a great deal, you can use it to book travel with any travel provider. Their annual fee payment is costly, but the card is a great deal, especially with its 3X points for every purchase at Costco.

Chase Freedom

The moment you open an account and get the Chase Freedom card. You earn a cash bonus of $150 for three months on a purchase worth $500. On a combined purchase worth $1500, there is a cashback of $5 in the quarter rotate purchases.

The quarter is between first October to December 31. You can earn a cashback return of $5 for purchases in Costco for every purchase on popular categories, grocery stores, and mobile payment. The returns are incredible for your regular purchases with the card. Surprisingly there is no annual fee for the card.
